Finally got around to completing the bookshelves for Viv's playroom. Not a lot of space in there, so any wall space is precious. These are
IKEA BEKVÄM Spice Racks.
There are lots of posts all over Pinterest about how to use these as bookshelves. I didn't want to paint mine one color...I wanted them to be whimsical so I used patterned washi tape from Micheals. The ones I used are from their Recollections line:
Yellow Floral,
Modern Floral,
Modern Aqua, and
Pink Damask. After applying the washi tape I used a layer of Mod Podge to seal it.

These really are great space savers...I wouldn't be able to put anything useful on the wall going into the room so these worked great.
They work well for little hands at a little person height.
